UFO over LA tonight at about 4am.

Actually, from my position in the SFV looking south, it was probably out over the Ocean or possibly closer in Topanga Canyon. It was really colorful and seemed to change shape. I would say that it was a drone but I took out some binoculars, steadied myself against one of the poles holding up the back patio cover and it looked too big to be a drone. At first it appeared to be a horizontal line of lights and then it seemed to change shape into a vertical line of lights. It didn't rotate, the lights seemed to reconfigure. It was weird because it would seem steady and then it would suddenly sketch out and fly around in rapid circles and shake back and forth and up and down. It was still out there when I came back in. It was freezing outside. I don't know what it was but I kinda doubt it was aliens. I don't know what purpose having a space ship with a bunch of colorful lights on it would serve. It was too far away for me to hear if it made any sound. Also the fact that it's New Years Eve, it could have been some sort of entertainment something.

I tried to take a pic or record some video but it was too far. I even tried to use the lens from the binoculars and the lens from the camara
