Are Reptile Aliens Endothermic or Ectothermic?

Endothermic when related to animals generally means "able to generate their own heat" a/k/a warmblooded while ectothermic generally means "unable to generate their own heat" a/k/a coldblooded.

My understanding is that all currently living reptiles are generally considered to be ectothermic. There seem to be a few exceptions but nothing that makes one believe they're on par with endothermic animals for the amount of heat they generate.

Do these same properties apply to reptile aliens?

Do reptile aliens need to lay on a hot rock or get their heat from other sources on a daily/hourly basis?

Do reptile aliens get really sluggish during cold weather?
