I'm back again with a new sighting that actually showed up on camera. I'm at a loss of words because I've always hoped I'd see a real convincing UFO in my lifetime and now I've had two experiences in the same year. The first was the "spotlights" that didn't show up on camera at all, and now I have a picture of what looks like a craft that is most likely man-made, but completely out of place given the area it was taken. The weird thing about this sighting is that there were absolutely no red or green lights flashing as all planes should have, and this thing was huge compared to anything I've seen fly over my neighborhood. Also, there was no tail light whatsoever.
I was riding in my friend's truck down Route 5 near Amsterdam, NY when we saw a very bright light in the sky. We pulled over into a rest area and the light was seemingly going to fly directly over us. We watched and eventually, it got much closer and we could make out 4 lights. 2 of the lights in the center match the normal headlights of a plane. The outside lights where the wings would be seemed a little off, though. Like they were in the wrong spot for a conventional aircraft. All four lights were white, and constant. A 5th whitish light would blink in the middle of the two "headlights" every couple seconds. It made a quiet noise compared to most planes, almost like a hum. It was definitely huge, much bigger than the small personal planes that fly around from the tiny airport a little North of where we were. That's the nearest airport by far. It was going extremely slow, slow enough to give me an uneasy feeling. I snapped a picture of it before it flew off, and you can see the strange orientation of the lights. It was directly overhead in the image.
It's nothing incredibly amazing, but I thought I'd share it with you guys as it made me very excited.
I should also mention it was flying from right to left in the image.
