I am a college freshmen studying biochemistry/molecular biology and economics. I'm interested in interning with NASA at any of their centers across the country. I've completed the application and got a letter of recommendation from a physics/astronomy professor. I am currently working on getting more laboratory experience to give myself a better chance of being accepted. What other things can I do to increase my chances? My GPA is 4.0 (so far). One particular opportunity I am looking into involves pharmaceutical drug research, which fits perfectly considering my career goal is to work for a pharmaceutical company. I am also considering an opportunity to work in the Nutritional Biochemistry laboratory at the JSC. Is there any advice previous (or current) interns can offer? What information do you wish you knew during the application process? Thanks for your help in advance.
