[Question] Would it be possible to set up magnetically opposing fields set up ahead of a capsule. Speeding it for as long as there are rings preset for the capsule to catch.

Like an interstellar road speeding up the capsule with each magnetic push?

Also would it be possible for a projectile from a rail gun to carry the rail gun with it in space after firing? Maybe build a small rail-gun with the projectile having internal arresting cables. http://ift.tt/1Rw07A8
