You may not know me, which is quite alright. I don't know many of you. You, who are the collective masses of humans who has had encounters with UFOS or are relaying information about ufos are essentially called "quakes". You are called, "nut cases" and "conspiracy theorists". Being associated with you spells an end to anyone's career.
The risk of using my real name is substantial I know. But for what its worth, I've decided to use it. I think there is something to this phenomenon. If you want to find out who I am, you can look through my history and you will find me. I even gave my twitter on some post.
Anyways, not sure how many of you are aware of the new startup called "Uproov". It uses blockchain technology to prove photos, videos, and audio.
The way I think it works is, the Photos or Videos or Audios (for sake of convenience I will use the abbreviation PVAs) to generate a private and public key. If one iota of the PVA is changed, the key pairing won't work thus you can prove that PVA has been alternated and visa versa.
Most if not all people have smartphones to some degree. Sure it may not be an expensive flagship, but a phone capable caring this software (its been released for the iPhone but they are planning on an Android release).
It is here I think we, as the UFO community, need a open source version of this app. It would be a social network where you can upload photos of UFOs with this blockchain technology that would prove that your photo is not a fake.
The sever costs aren't that much. $120 a year can support 100K hits a month and we scale using VPS sever services. The whole thing can be 501(c) non profit.
We should engineer it to where we have all the sitings uploaded on a map in real time. U
I am only really beginning to learn and apply web development, so I can not do this alone. So I opened a repository here. Decided to name this project "iProoveUFOs".
If you guys want to use this technology to accumulate real data, which is time stamped and verifiable, please help out with the code!
