Anyone here a former NASA employee or contractor that got laid off when the space shuttle program ended? What are you doing now?

I was watching a video of my favorite space shuttle launch earlier (STS-119 to be exact) and got to thinking that it's been almost five years since the last space shuttle launch. I googled around a bit and found multiple layoff estimates hovering close to 10,000 when the shuttle program ended.

Lots and lots of bright minds, out of work. Any redditors here used to work on the space shuttle program? What are you doing now?

For anyone that might be reading this that worked on the shuttle program and is still employed by NASA, what roles did you transition from and to?
