You know how you try to talk yourself out of something happening to you, until you realize it happened to someone else too? That's why people always ask "Did you hear that...?" in a scary movie..It's only scary when the other person says "Yes..I did."
This happened a couple of months ago but I just tried to brush it off.. Maybe it was just a machine I had never heard.. Something had to explain it. But there it was. A man on YouTube describing what happened to me exactly.. On a video I had stumbled upon looking at YouTube. The coincidence alone that I clicked on this 'suggested' random video and it said my home town...and then it went on to describe what I heard! Alien activity where I live. But the video didn't have everything I experienced.
A couple of months ago I was in my room. It was around 9 pm. I live on a very busy street. I am talking about a 5 lane road and constant cars until about 3 am. To not hear any sound is unsettling to me honestly. It is a white noise that I have grown accustomed to. That is what happened first. Complete silence. Immediately I got chills from how quiet it was. I turned off my tv just to hear how long it would be before another car passed. I was thinking maybe there was a traffic jam. But as soon as I turned off my tv I realized this wasn't a 'normal' silence. You know the sounds your ears make whenever its quiet? I can't explain it. But those sounds weren't there. It was nothing.
I got freaked out and turned my tv on. I kept listening for the cars and they came back after about 3 minutes. Which seemed like an eternity. I was thankful though and, of course, brushed it off as nothing.
Then later that night around 11 pm I was laying down to go to sleep. The silence came again. I was scared. But I do what everyone does and try to be logical. I thought 'maybe this is just the first time I've ever noticed it getting quiet.' I've lived in the same house and room for 24 years.
My room is right next to the small space between my house and the next door neighbor's, so when there is wind it swooshes through the space and makes a sound. It's only really audible when there is a storm and the wind picks up a lot. After the silence, there was a LOUD swooooooosshhhhhhhh that lasted about 3 minutes. Only a sound that extreme wind of maybe a tornado could make. It jolted me upright. I looked at the weather. Cloudy, no rain, NO WIND. I swear my first thought was aliens. Even though I had tried to stay reasonable, the silence and this sound... I was too scared to go outside. I was too scared to move. I turned on the tv again to try to distract me and drown out anymore sounds I might hear.
At about 1 am I had finally calmed down enough to start falling asleep. As soon as I was on that verge of sleep, I was shocked awake by what normally sounds like the garbage truck outside my house, but louder. It was huge, metallic creaking, groaning. Like that annoying sound they play for Godzilla trailers.. Honestly I just wanted to not hear anything anymore. I was so close to sleep I tried to ignore it. Then as I was on the cusp of dreaming, it happened again. This happened 4 times. I felt like 'it' was doing it on purpose. I know that doesn't, and this whole story doesnt make any sense, but thats what happened. After it woke me up the 4th time my heart was pounding. I got my phone and realized it had only been 30 minutes or so since I tried to fall asleep even though it felt like hours. I didn't sleep the rest of the night. But the sound didn't happen again.
The next day I felt just paranoid and weird. But that could've just been from lack of sleep.. And obviously I told everyone I knew about what I heard and experienced. No one had heard it or knew anyone that did. So when I went to sleep that night and heard nothing I was grateful.
So, now it is a couple of months later and here I am. This man from where I live submitted a video. It was around the time this all happened to me. He had been hearing the groaning metallic sounds. But during the day. He took a video of the sky of just the general area he thought it was coming from. And in the video a cloud passes over a certain area and it outlines what appears to be a hidden ship in the sky.
It was just too much of a coincidence. All of it. I don't know if I feel comfortable with admitting where I live on here since I am basically admitting to being crazy, but if you have heard this unexplainable metallic groaning, especially after silence and wind, please let me know!
