Over the Christmas break my family and I travelled to Austria for vacation. I had multiple weird experiences throughout this trip that still give me goose bumps. I had not smoked weed or done any psychedelics for months before this trip. One of the nights we stayed at the Bristol Hotel in Salzburg. It is across the street from Mozart's birth home and beside the old Palace. This hotel used to be a privately owned palace where very important people would stay given its location in Salzburg. All the art in the hotel was from the existing family's private collection. That night I had a strange dream that Sigmund Freud was talking to me. I knew it was him only because he told me. I woke up sweating and kind of creeped out. I put on my robe and decided to go for a walk through the hotel. I walked up multiple floors and found a lounge room that I had not yet explored. As soon as I walked in I had goose bumps and felt as if something was watching me. I turned to leave but as i did I a large bust (sculpture of a head) caught my attention. It was a bust of Sigmund Freud. The label read that he had stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past. I returned to my room immediately and did not sleep the rest of the night. A few days later on January 2nd, I spent the day touring the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. The place had the most amazing collection of art, antiquities and architecture from some of the greatest minds of history. That night I had a visit in my sleep. It felt like I got sucked into some sort of deeper consciousness. I was awake inside my body but I felt like I had entered a different realm. I could feel/see a blue energy flowing through my body almost like it was scanning my soul. It felt extremely powerful. I tried to push it out but I could not, I was stuck in whatever it was. It was truly an invasive feeling. I then heard something say "Its on" to something else. I then saw thousands of images very rapidly...The most distinct being a coat of arms. The blue light/energy sent one more shock wave/scan throughout my body and then left.... I have no idea what happened to me. It was very invasive and intense but not inherently negative. At the time it felt like a negative power but my life has been better than ever since. My marks in school have been all around 15% higher, opportunities have been flowing my way and I feel smarter. I feel like I my brain and consciousness have been further opened up. I don"t know if the first experience is related to the second. What I do know is that the 2nd experience connected me to something much bigger than my understanding and I felt like I was not the only one it had happened to that night. January 3rd, 2016 at about 4am (local Vienna time). Any input is welcome as I am still baffled.
