So...I was at my moms house last week, when she came up to me and told me that she had found an old journal of mine from when I was in elementary school. I have deduced that it was from 4th grade, because that is when we were learning how to write in cursive. And the penmanship was terrible. But sighs I did recognize it as my handwriting.
I don't remember having written this journal, but I can surmise that I either had to write for 5 minutes or fill up one page, whichever came first. My best guess.
There were days when I didn't finish what I was writing, and days when I did. It was always written in cursive, minus the words "keep out," usually written at the top of nearly every page, and it was always about something completely...normal. My weekend, thanksgiving dinner, christmas, etc.
I flipped through the pages, being 24 years old now, it was fun to reminisce about myself from so long ago. Some of the entries were actually quite funny.
The journal was completely normal until I came upon pages 22-26. I was rather stunned when I opened first from page 21 to page 22. My 4th grade self suddenly began writing in regular print, all capital letters, for no apparent reason...until I read what I had written.
The pictures attached are those pages, from my journal.
I went further through the journal and found a page that said "I am a alien," as well as another page with a, let's be honest, crude picture of two aliens standing side by side. One appears male, the other female. There are also symbols above them that could mean...anything really.
The problem with this journal is, I don't remember ever writing these things. I don't remember being talked to in school about what I had written. I don't remember ever having any sort of fascination with aliens, much less really understanding the idea of it all. I don't remember any of this journal, and I had no idea said journal existed until last week. When my mom gave it to me.
One last thing, a side note of some things I have noticed after reading these pages over and again. Note the switch from cursive to plain, capital letters. Note the small drawings provided on pages 3 and 5. Note the shape of the two figures in said drawings on pages 3 and 5. And finally, note which figure is carrying which on page 5.
I want to know what this sub has to say about my journal, and the pages which I have brought to your attention.
P.S. I added two pictures of what regular pages looked like, for context as to what the first 21 pages of the journal looked like, generally speaking.
edit: Sorry I don't really post on Reddit, and it lost my attached images. So I put them in the comments below.
