So I was sitting in a taxi, and all of a sudden I noticed that one of the passengers was frozen still. When it got to her stop, she started moving normally and got out. The taxi dropped me off on the side of the road (my stop). I thought maybe this would be the end of it, but then I realized that ALL of my surroundings were slowing down or stopped and that cars would begin to look more box-like, almost like a "model town". A driver in a black suburban pulled over and asked if I needed help. His passenger was looking straight ahead, not moving. I said "no, I'm fine" (I really didn't think I would be safe). I didn't feel safe with my surroundings, either, but I knew a friend would be crossing the street to help me soon (otherwise I probably would have gotten in his car). He finally crossed the road and got a taxi, I was going back to my hotel. We got in, and I thought maybe I was safe...Well until I realized the driver was also looking pretty stiff. I got a little closer to see his face and that's when I saw it-one of the scariest parts of this-he was plastic. The car seemed to be moving off the road. I turned to my friend but his arm was almost suspended in mid air, barely moving. I didn't want to die, but I didn't know what else to do...I opened the door to get out while it was moving. I should have stayed inside? The car then pulled over and everyone in the car went back to "normal" my friend said something like "what are you doing?". It seemed to be semi-okay after that, except that because of how terrified and helpless I felt during all of this, I think I might have some PTSD or something. I'm going to see a therapist soon, but I just wanted to throw this experience out there, it was my first true hallucination so maybe that's why I was so frightened by it.
