Yes, it may be hard to believe - it may be hard to think that - in 2016 - people could be this this deluded and idiotic, but unfortunately for humanity it's true. I've spent the last few days surrounded by such people and their arguments are just... yeah. Basically, they use faulty arguments and back them up with flawed 'logical' evidence. One person said to me, "If the Earth is round, how come if you were on a lake [...] you would be able to see somebody 20km away with binoculars, when they should be a mile below the surface of the Earth". Like, seriously, who even are these people? Another told me that "the sky is a green screen made by NASA" - to which I had to say, "What, the sky that's existed for billions (if not trillions) of years before humanity was even in existence?" - I'm yet to receive a reply for that one. 👌 So anyway, what do you all make of this? How would you prove to somebody paranoid about the states involvement with us that the Earth is in-fact spherical?
