Strange experience with a drone in our bedroom.

 My husband and I had gone to sleep around 11PM the night before last with our dog in the bedroom. The bedroom door was shut and all the lights in the house were off except for a small light in the kitchen above the stove. Around 3AM I hear the dog barking and growling furiously, like I've never heard him bark before. We both sat up suddenly, I felt completely lucid and awake. The first thing my husband says is "Hey why is the bedroom door open and why is the light on in the other room?". At this point the dog has gotten quiet. Just as my husband walks into the other room to investigate, what I can only describe as a small white drone of some sort flew across the room behind him and straight through the closed window gliding right through the glass without a sound as if it wasn't even there. He never saw it because of the direction he was facing and he thinks I saw an optical illusion or something, but what I saw was right in front of me clear as day. We both left the bedroom at this point to check out the rest of our apartment. Every single light was on and every door was open except for the front door which was still dead bolted shut. We live on the 4th floor. We both had to work early in the morning so we went back to bed after we made sure that no one had broken in somehow. That morning I noticed that my upper right arm was really sore and tender, today I have an oval shaped bruise about the size of a quarter in the same spot. I don't have any way of knowing if the two are related, but I figured someone would ask if I have any unexplained marks etc. As far as I know he doesn't have any marks on his body, but I haven't asked either. Here is the best description I can give of what I'm going to call the drone. It was white with a matte finish, about 10 inches long and 5 across, sort of a boxy shape, but rounded on the edges with 4 stubby little legs. It didn't make any sound, but it moved pretty quickly. It didn't have any propellers, fans or any other visible means of propulsion, it just flew. I've never experienced anything like this in my life. My husband still doesn't believe me about the drone, but neither of us have an explanation for all the doors being open and the lights being turned on at 3AM in a locked 4th floor apartment. Has anybody else encountered anything similar?
