The headline may seem a bit too radical, but, after the Space Shuttle, I thought there'd be a sequel project which would, mainly, focus on improving the concept of creating spacecraft, capable of surviving the reentry and being reusable, and eventually lead to creating efficient SSTOs. What I found out was a bit of a disappointment: A project that is not innovative and rather focuses on completing the mission, only. Whereas; I saw it as a lovely opportunity to improve ourselves at the concepts, mentioned above.
I may have a few, somewhat, mistaken points, and statements, and am ready to get enlightened!
