It's 4:06am here. This is happening right now and it has been like this for an hour and an half. I was outside and all of the sudden this high pitched whistle sound filled the air. Thing is, as soon as I put an object between me and the probable direction of the source the sound stops, I can't hear it anymore. This is how I found out where it could come from: south-like direction. I made some test like covering one of my ears and turning around, as soon as my uncovered ear is in in that direction I can hear it again. Strange thing is that I called a friend who lives 10 kilometres away from me telling her this strange stuff that is happening and she said she can hear it too. The best way I could describe it it's by saying that it's like a dog whistle but for humans. I couldn't hear any dog barking the whole time and my two cats are as peaceful as ever, they didn't seem to even notice it when I tried to bring them outside to see if they could hear it. I tried to record it with my phone but the microphone doesn't pick it up. I stood outside for a while trying to figure it out and I noticed some patterns: sometimes, after 7-10 minutes the costant "beeeeeeeeeeep" breaks and starts doing some sort of morse code like "beeeeeeeeeeeeep brp brp brp brp beeep brp brp brp brp brp brp". The "brp"s (sorry I can't find any other way to describe it, English it's not my first language. Apologies if it sounds ridicolous) are uber fast, counted like 20 before losing count and then the costant "beeeeeeep" starts again. I've never heard something like this or even heard or read someone talking about this kind of stuff. First time I post something on Reddit, I wanted to share this thing and possibly get some answers.
