I was thinking about becoming a FI, but to do that, i must purchase a manual and take an exam, etc. as they're a non-profit organization..it doesnt seem too far fetched to ask for a bit of money here and there...(you also need to pay at least 55$ a year to be an active FI, as its the normal membership to the site/organization) but i was wanting some other opinions on this..i dont want income which is obvious knowing i will not be getting any from a non-profit, and value is whatever i make of it and all, but would becoming a "licensed" field investigator for their organization just be something along the lines of me just holding a title or would i actually be assigned to investigate sightings in my area? I'm not too sure how they function or how they work with their FI's. this really piques my interest but i dont want to fall into an organization that just sugar coats something for someone like me to spend money on. they supply clothing and investigation materials and the like, this just sounds all too fun and knowledgeable for me, who wouldn't want to report and investigate UFO's in an "official" capacity and be backed by a huge organization that's all about it?
