So I currently am in the delayed entry program, I ship out to boot camp next July, and I have a 6 year contract(2 of those years are nuclear power school). Right now I'm working at a semiconductor manufacturing plant, and I'm operating/repairing robotic machines daily in a NASA quality clean room! I plan on getting a bachelors in electrical engineering, but since I have to serve for 6 years, it will delay my education (though providing for it financially). I want to be working for NASA before I turn 30, is my long military contract going to help or hurt my chances ? I'm very motivated but I also am trying to be realistic !
