I had an alien encounter and have been afraid of telling my story

When I was 8 years old (1989) we had a fort in a small wooded area that was in the middle of a big field in Pennsylvania. It was about 10:30am in the morning on a Saturday and I went and rode my bike to go visit the fort in the woods and was hoping some friends would be there. I was there by myself walking along a little path and right as I was walking around a large tree a big eyed gray being, about 4 ft tall was just staring at me (like the one of aliens you would typically see). I turned around and just ran as fast as I could and was just forced to the ground with a swoop of pressure but nothing touching me. The next thing i remember was waking up in the same area with my hands and feet being completely numb. I get up and start running and my bike was gone. I just start running through the field when and a person yells at me screaming my name as there was a small search party of neighbors looking for me (its about 6:30pm now). I get a car ride home from this guy who found me and my parents are screaming at me, as they found my bike and there was a small search for me. I knew nobody would believe me so I made up a lie that I went for a hike and got lost in the woods somewhere else. I told my friends the story of what happened and was made fun of me.

Fast forward now when I was 12, I had extremely sharp pains in my thigh. My parents took me to a doctor and we got xrays. The xrays showed that I had 3 small lines of metal in my thigh right up against my femur that looked about the size of sewing pin. We had a surgery and the metal was removed and the doctor concluded that it was a titanium metal rods but had no idea what they were from or they could get into my leg like that since ive never had any surgeries. I was always a true believer that the metal got into my leg because of the encounter.

Its been a long time since that incident happened but I know what happened. Ive kept the story close to myself, as if I told anyone they would think im crazy.
