Let me get this out straight away. I have never been a believer of such things but last night turned me into a believer. It was an odd night, and I find myself out in a rural part of town it's all hazy / misty out. A weird glow is in the sky. I am at this corner store, Joes Stop N Snack on the southside of town, as I had stopped in for a bag for corn nuts. I'm out front about to get into my car and I hear a chatter that I had never heard before. It's coming from behind Joes Stop N Snack. Right then and there the lights flicker and I check my cell phone. NO SERVICE. I have Verizon, so I usually always have service. Something is up. I go to the back and there is a huge bright light now coming from behind Joes Stop N Snack. as I round the corner, they they are. Skinny, pale humanoids. They all had metal cylinders in their hands and were holding them at about their waist. One even lifted one to his mouth. They must have been taking samples of items laying around the back of Joes Stop N Sack. I got really scared, picked up a pipe that was laying on the side of the Stop N Snack wall just in case anything crazy went down. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it, you know? So as I approach these things I notice that they are doing science experiments on an old truck. They don't even notice me. I slowly walk up and then one notices me - They yelled. Some crazy talk I have never heard before. I got startled and swung. Hit one right in the head, popped his head like a cantaloupe on Christmas morning. To my amazement they bleed just like we do. The others scurried into their space ship, which I didn't even notice at first. It must have been in cloaking mode and when the mele started it appeared. Looked like a Chrome Twinky. I ran. I got into my truck so fast and drove home as fast as I could. It was about 150 miles, which I don't remember too well because I'll be the first to admit I had quite a bit to drink. I usually remember everything after I drink though so I think they might have caught up to me and abducted me and done tests. This whole situation has got me freaked out and I am sweating and shaking still. I didn't know who else to tell so I searched around on the internet and found about R/allens - I'm so glad I found you - I hope you can help me make sense of this.
