I live in rural mid-Missouri and when I was young I enjoyed playing outside with my brother. One afternoon while we were on our trampoline we saw something we couldn't explain. We saw what looked like a dim orange colored cloud moving opposite of the ways the clouds were moving, and it wasn't later in the day so it couldn't have been the Suns reflection off of water as in normal clouds. It was a circular object that was slowly moving unlike any man made flying object. I ran inside to get my mother while my brother stayed outside to watch the object. By the time I got outside it was gone and my brother claimed it moved back and forth and sped up into the sky very quickly. I don't know if this was just our childish imaginations that I'm remembering wrong as my adolescent self would've wanted to believe that it was a UFO, or if it was something natural. I don't remember hardly anything from my childhood, but this is something that stuck with me. I'm really just trying to figure out if Me and my brother were the only ones that encountered something as bizarre as this.
