First of all, let me just say I don't believe whatsoever that elongated skulls are extra terrestrial. The whole "head binding" theory makes complete sense to me because humans have always done weird random shit like that. But was it actually random and weird? I have no idea if this is has been mentioned before (most likely though because I don't think of myself as a revolutionary thinker) but I just came to the conclusion that maybe the elongated skulls were a way to pay respect to or attempt to be more like alien visitors. If aliens had visited primitive people, they would without a doubt believe them to be gods. I don't think it's unlikely that if they were visited, they would continue to worship after the aliens departure. If the aliens had elongated type heads, it's not a stretch at all to think that these people bind their children's heads to become closer in look to the gods they had seen. Thoughts?
