I don't mean in the conventional sense. At this point, it should be a common concept that there is life in this universe other than our own. It turns out, we aren't the center of the universe. My view is more esoteric in nature. Anything found within our universe isn't technically alien at all. Just another form of life that was constructed within the confines of our universe. A true alien would be an existence/lifeform that was formed in a universe entirely different from our own (meaning not a paralell universe and/or dimension, rather something entirely unique with different laws.) Out in the multiverse.
So that begs the question, do aliens exist? Beings that are capable of "multiversal" travel that is. I would personally say, no. It's not so much that they don't exist... but aren't capable of existing in our universe. They would have been formed in an universe with entirely different universal laws set in place from our own. To travel between parallel dimensions is one thing, the laws stay the same. Between multiverses though, things get complicated. The laws in which conditioned existence would be different. So, I suppose that would complicate things.
