I had a dream last night that involved aliens. When I woke up, I saw something weird on my ceiling (like a projection that came from nowhere), then it went away about a minute later. Anyone experience something like this?

This is sort of like what I saw on my ceiling when I woke up. The numbers in the image are random, because i'm not even sure if the things I saw were digits or letters. At first I thought it was because my alarm clock. Like, if you stare at something and look at a wall, you'll sort of see part of it again, but then I remembered that my clock was in my closet, turned off. I was laying there for maybe a minute just looking at it, trying to figure out what it was. I thought I would take a picture of it, but once I pointed my phone at it to take the picture it was gone. It was also not as bright/clear as it was in the image. My curtains were closed, so it's not like there was any sort of reflection from the window or anything like that. The only other sources of light in my room at the time were an LED light on my laptop charger and a dull green light in my smoke detector. There were no sources of any pink light.

The dream, from what I remember, didn't have the "normal" alien features. They weren't greys or even very human like at all. There were 2 that I remember seeing, they were massive. They had 4 legs that were an orange-ish color, with the rest of them being a dark grey color. This is similar to what I remember them looking like, though it's obviously a very rough recreation. If I could actually draw i'm sure it would look better. I wasn't actually in the dream, I was just observing. They were discussing some sort of virus or infection.

It's probably nothing. I'm not sure. I've lurked here for a while and I thought this might be a good place to ask.
