Do you truly condemn the cover-up?

In my beliefs and convictions, I've always swung towards freedom of information and power to the people, so when my own personal sightings drove me into this subject, this was the angle I naturally maintained.

But when you reach a point of certainty, and lose interest in UFO videos and such, you can focus your attention to deeper analysis of the phenomenon. For me, this meant reflecting on and applying logic to the situation we find ourselves in.

We seem to be visited by beings from far worlds and maybe even from different times. While the cover-up by terrestrial organizations is sloppy, none of the visitors seem interested in a global disclosure event either. What are we to make of this? Unless they have a very restricting non-intervention policy that transcends their better judgement, we can safely state that they think it would do more harm than good, at least at this point in time.

This would be in line with what the authorities must have asserted. Different reasoning and interests, but the same conclusion. I don't trust governments, and especially not the black divisions who are in charge of this subject, but maybe they're right about this one.

On earth we have certain economic systems in place that are vulnerable to much smaller news or developments than the 'arrival' of ETs. More than half of the world's population have built their lives around religions that place humanity at the centre of the universe, or at least fundamentally separate from other lifeforms. The implications of advanced alien races being around would severely disrupt science and industry, as anything we research or engineer could become obsolete by obtaining even a shred of the aliens' knowledge on a matter.

No matter how I run the scenarios, I always end up with something like this: Disclosure without subsequent uplift of our civilization will leave us much worse off.

Of course, most of these impact issues would be solved if they gave us some of their knowledge and technologies, and aided us in the transition to an advanced civilization. But would you give humanity any such power and responsibility, given what you know about our own kind? Don't you imagine they're even more worried about humanity than we are?

That leaves us with this: Disclosure without uplift leaves us confused and in ruins. Disclosure with uplift comes with great risk given our infantility, and defies even the most flexible non-intervention policies you can imagine advanced visitors to have.

I guess my point is that the most important thing redpilled/woke people should be focussing their attention on, is moral development of our species. We can't be trusted by outsiders if we're this violent and erratic amongst ourselves. UFO footage and evidence of ET presence can be great to wake people up, but realize that it's not moving us forward.

Please let me know what your thoughts are on the matter. I realize there are many perspectives and the stakes are high so let's keep discussing this.
