Why don't we stop Voyager 1 and 2?

TL;DR if alien lifeforms can read maps and they want something from Earth, how are we to know they will happily agree an alliance with us? After seeing the posts today regarding the life extension of Voyager 1, much as I am excited to see our advancement into space, I was surprised that no one has raised the question about us being contacted by another life form as a result. Whatever life form this is will, in my opinion, most likely be more advanced than us, both in evolution and in space technology. Obviously no bacterial life forms and cavemen-like species will have the technology to enter space, so anything that does is going to be at least as technically advanced as we are. There is so much more we have to discover in our universe, and much more powerful machinery is required to be able to explore it. Therefore if anything that comes in contact with Voyager 1 or 2 (by chance or not) thinks to come and visit us, they are likely to have technology vastly superior to ours, and they have a map describing our exact location in our galaxy. What would they do with this technology? You could ask, "what would we do if we encountered new lands rich in materials we want to get our hands on?" In only fairly recent history (last few hundred years), we would enslave the majority of people we encountered and take their resources as our own. Why are we risking the chance that any aliens, that may travel to Earth as a result of these missions, would greet us and form an alliance with us, rather than enslaving/destroying us?
