[Psychology?] Weird feelings when watching video's on the subject

Hi,

I've been pondering this for some time now. It's not something I can easily talk about with anyone else as I would probably be called crazy, or something along those lines.

When watching video's (or listening to people speaking) on this subject I sometimes start crying. Not crying out loud, just ... tears welling up and rolling off silently.

This does not always happen. Just .. sometimes. It mostly occurs during clips I find believable, or unexplainable if not for some unbelievably well-done video-editing.

There's a certain part of me that wants to believe that this only happens when I'm watching something that's "true". Am I going insane, am I too invested in the subject? Or is there some other connection, something 'clicking' in my mind realizing that this is true, what is being shown (or told) in the content I'm watching is the truth and it's being actively obfuscated by governments?

P.S.: Just to be clear; I know for a fact that only two people have seen me cry (measuring from puberty onwards). Once when my childhood pet of 17 years passed, once when one of my friends got killed in a hit-and-run. I am an antithesis of an emotional person. Choices I make are based on logic and rationale over emotions - always. Or .. so I used to think.
