They were just waiting for us to send them a vehicle that they can use when they visit us on Earth. Now that one has been sent they should be getting it soon and have their transportation ready for their visit.
Hopefully Elon left them a full tank of gas. We don't want them stranded on the side of the road. They might not have thumbs.
