So I sometimes watch "ufologists" videos out of boredom trying to debunk their claims for myself out of entertainment. This video was all about "apollos moon landing being monitored by et" with a lot of half-baked 'evidence'. But this one photo stumped me:

I first thought this has to be easily debunkable as photoshopped. I searched for the photo ID helpfully provided on the top right and found the original and downloaded the high res version from here: https://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/frame/?AS11-40-5940

So has anyone an idea what the cause for this weird shadow could be as it seems to be actually part of the photo? I'm not really considering this proof for hovering monitoring spaceships over the apollo astronauts but I cannot think of anything explaining this.
https://www.lpi.usra.edu looks to me to be legit. It's oddly symmetric for it to be a simple artefact in the picture. It might be some kind of lens flare/reflection on the camera lense but what could it be reflecting?
