Deal with it.

If you're like me then you are logical and rational enough to realize that in the endless vastness of space that is the universe. That somewhere out there, perhaps closer than we know, extra terrestrial beings exist. Trillions of stars with billions and billions of planets. A large chunk of which are in known habitable zones for sustaining life. Hell, Kepler found Proxima B what like a year or so ago? Closest star Proxima centauri has a possible Earth like planet.....all leads to the belief that we are not alone. That we may have been visited before and maybe just maybe, our very species is a remnant or a product of another species meddling.

That's all well and good. And maybe all of that blah blah blah happened. But I'll tell you what is very true today....there is only one collective power in charge of this planet, it's people, and for that matter the solar system. It's us. Human beings.

Nuclear weapons. Long and short range heavy round artillery. Fighter jets armed with heat seeking missiles and 30mm guns. Attack helicopters armed with 20mm rail guns and capable of firing laser guided targeted missiles. As well as holding ground troops armed with automatic weapons with 5.56 mm bullets that rip through anything. RPGs. Subterfuge. Napalm. White phosphorus. These are all examples from the largest to the smallest of the viability of our military might. America has tens of thousands of nuclear weapons. All pointed up.

The fact is that we as a species are not alone yes.....but we are not controlled or anything of the sort either. We are not answering to or ever have been serving another being or group of beings.

This will seem like a shock but we are as technologically advanced as any other species that would bother us. As formidable as a species. The pure destructive capability that we as a single race of people truly have....

I feel sorry for those of you who have not been able to see the truth. Those of you who want to believe in our inferior ability. Want to believe some alien overlords are the ones causing this planet to suffer when it's really just us....we are the monsters.

We have imprisoned other beings in Antarctica. We have studied them at area 51. We have blatantly shot them out of the sky on multiple occasions. Flying saucers? Please. How about an F22 capable of breaking the speed of sound. Or maybe just an unmanned drone packed with ordinates.

I wish I could sit here and tell you some fantastic story of how much more amazing it can get and how other species are so much more advanced and helping us....when it's simply not true. No other species would even come close to us. We'd try to kill them. So now we are left to ourselves. To fight ourselves. To kill ourselves. And anyone who might be out there.....they simply have a better chance of staying alive getting as far away from us as possible. We are a plague to this universe. Nothing more.
