Everyone has wondered at some point wether or not we are alone in the universe. To which the obvious answer is no. If the universe is as vast as we believe then the chances are that there is an uncountable number of intelligent species out there. But my question is do we want to be discovered?
My personal opinion is that if a species is intelligent enough to find us, then that species must be far superior than us. Maybe to the extent of our superiority to common cattle. Our irrelevance should make us fearful. The human race can't even come together to aim towards a common goal. We spend most of our time waging war against each other.
If they come, we're fucked.
