The general consensus is that I should start applying for jobs this Fall so I've been looking at entry level positions at private companies. They're pretty self explanatory in their requirements saying "Entry Level" or "New Grad", but the federal postings don't exactly state new grad on the USAJOBS website. The particular position I'm interested in says "you must have one year of specialized experience to the next lower grade (GS-14)". I have eight months experience working at a NASA facility for one of their GNC departments where I conducted meaningful work relevant to this job posting and another 3 months of research experience working on a satellite project at school. Am I aiming too high trying to apply for GS-15?
