(I have also posted this in r/UFOs) I was driving home from univeristy about 20 minutes ago when I came to a stop at a set of traffic lights. For some reason, I looked up to the sky and cauight a glimpse of a bright flash of an organge/yellow light (like an orange flame) appear in the sky and disappear wihtin miliseconds. It looked like a flame was used to propel something fowards at an insane speed. The weird thing is, I messaged my group of friends and one of them also saw the flash, they live about 5 kms away from where I was. It's stormy in Perth where I am now, but when this occurered the sky was clear and there was no rain. Does anyone have an explanation for what I saw? Edit: the sun has long set and it wasn't very cloudy in that part of the sky.
