Throwaway account. I'm still freaked out.
I either had the most vivid, real, painful dream/sleep paralysis in my entire fucking life or I was abducted. I thought I died and went to hell, then I thought terrorists had me or something dumb like that.
See I was in bed sleeping. It was a normal night. Then I woke up in a really strange state. It was as if I was waking up in slow motion. I kept having a semi lucid type of dream where I was on this highway in a yellow truck. I just kept slipping in and out.
Then I consciously awoke. I couldn't turn my head. I couldn't open my eyes. I couldn't even make a noises. But I heard things moving around me. I felt the presence of a group. I thought maybe I was still dreaming so I tried desperately to wake up, but I was already as awake as I could be. I kept feeling cold bursts of air against my skin, and the noises were sometimes deafening. Like construction equipment, then it would be silent. I wanted to open my eyes so badly. My mind kept slipping away from me-- one moment I would be very tuned into the noises and movements around me , and the next I would be dreaming, but I always knew when it was a dream and when I returned.
Whatever these things or people were, they were touching me with icy cold things. My mind assigned them as medical equipment but I really don't know. I kept having hallucinatory sensations and emotions. I would dream I was eating and it would feel as if I had when I returned to paralysis. It happened with memories and temperature. I had some sexual sensations happen this way as well... it is so hard to describe. Basically I'd be induced into a dream, then return and it felt as if whatever I had dreamed about had actually happened to my body and my mind.
I definitely felt tampered with. My memories of this keep slipping away it seems like a vivid dream you think you'll remember so you don't write it down but you forget anyway.
The worst part came near the end. I was electrocuted. Ive been shocked bad before so i knew it was definitely electricity. I felt my heart slow down and stop. I thought this is it. This is it I'm dead. Fuck I'm dead. But I simply returned back to the state of paralysis. And then there were more super loud noises. I cant remember anything after that.
There are no marks on my body whatsoever. Well how can I know it wasn't just a dream? I just know it was too coherent, cyclical, and determined to be a dream. Dreams aren't that loud. Dreams don't keep bringing you back to the same place over and over. Whatever happened feels beyond my comprehension. I keep going over the noises in my head. I can't pin them on anything I've heard before. Low screeching construction equipment is the best description I have.
