DISCLAIMER: This is just a random theory... I know this sub is mainly full of first hand accounts and unverified evidence, so let me know if there is a better place for these kinds of posts :)
Hey guys... I've been lurking this sub for a while and aside from the plethora of trolls there do seem to be some open minded people here so I figured I'd share a theory I've been working on.
What if the "greys" are NOT aliens, but actually another intelligent lifeform that evolved separately from us on this planet? It seems like a long shot, but hear me out. As of the year 2000, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) estimated that as much as 95 percent of the world's oceans and 99 percent of the ocean floor are unexplored. I'm not sure what that number is at now, but considering 70 percent of the Earth is covered in oceans, that's a lot of unexplored territory under our own feet. Now this is purely speculation, but to me the iconic UFO depiction of a flyer saucer looks a lot like what I would imagine an aircraft that needed to launch from water might look like. Almost like how we have submarines exploring the ocean depths, its natural that an intelligent lifeform in the oceans would need a vehicle to explore the skies.
Have any of you explored this option before? I'm curious to hear other thoughts or alternative theories.
