So I don’t know much about the rotation of earth or anything else really about space , I just find it fascinating . Never really studied much about it in school or on my own so this might be a really stupid question I’m about to ask .
Why is it that the moon is in a different spot every night . I usually look outside at the moon around 2300 due to that when I’m usually working. I’m in deployed to Iraq at the moment so i get some really good views of the moon out here . About a month ago at precisely 2300 the moon was almost already set in the West . I thought that was very weird due to that I never saw it set that early before . So then throughout the weeks at 2300 the moon is in different spots , either just coming over the west , straight above me , etc. also I know it’s common for the moon to be out during the day . So why is this ?
