Rocketship design

Hey everyone.

Ive recently become interested in learning how to design practical spaceships/rocketships. Id first like to learn how to design them using all variables including math and physics which arw requirwd to break earths orbital pull. (Sorry if im incorrect in whats required to leave earth!! LOL)

After learning how to draw the designs, id like to model them in a computer application that is user friendly and able to render such models.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can find resouces for rocketship design and 3d modeling?
