High magnification ground footage of Hubble this morning.

Here's footage of the Hubble Space Telescope tracked by my new (soon to be open source) satellite tracking software. Tracking is performed initially based on Hubble's orbit, which gets the telescope close, and then centers it up using video-based tracking.

The telescope was an 8" Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain with a 2x barlow for an effective focal length of about 4 meters, the main camera view was recorded by a Canon T5i.

Anecdotally, I noticed that Hubble's orientation was about the same as when I tracked it on an almost identical pass yesterday, so they must have it "parked" while working on the faulty gyroscope issue.
