For example whenever they drink a sip of water, they start having fits, their throat closes and they fall unconscious, but aren't having a constant reaction, despite a normal human's body being 70% water (in terms of mass). They also cannot touch water because it burns them, causing them to instinctively scream in pain. For example, there's this woman who gets into the news like every month, and she says even an IV of saline will kill her. (She cannot handle water being in her blood..so what is her blood consisted of?)
I might add they insist they aren't allergic to chemicals IN the water but to the compound itself. They claim their immune system attacks any water that it sees when it goes inside their body or makes contact with their cells. It feels like 'liquid fire' to them and scorches their insides if they drink it so they have to survive by drinking only tiny amounts of milk.
Are these people human or is something supernatural at work here? Almost all of these people are from the UK and female, and this seems to be a recent thing, I swear I see a new case of this each week lately when 10-15 years ago it was unheard of. Even though there's separate cases, it seems like every case is reading off of a script from the last and they all seem pretty obsessed with putting themselves 'out there'.
They often pose for photos but all the photos look un natural and awkward, like they're trying to imitate something they saw on TV. Like in one of the cases this woman is holding a glass of water at arm's length and giving it an exaggerated frown.. just didn't seem natural to me
