The aliens come with fleets of thousands of spacecraft and laser guns and city destroyers. Point is they win and are currently occupying Earth. I'd assume the humans would still be fighting a guerrilla war on Earth. How long could the human race go on for? Centuries? Decades? Would we eventually win or would aliens mass genocide?
