imagine that magically either mars or venus, whichever is closer to us,is replaced by an other planet where the day and the year last just as much as they do in eath, the living conditions are pretty much the same to earth and even has plants and animals without technology.
the reason scientists are hopping to sent people to other planets is because of the global warming, not the overpopulation. so i have some questions:
1)what is the minimum ammount of people that we need to sent there?
2)how much is it going to cost to transfer them(spaceships are not cheap to make right?)
3)how exactly would this whole process happen?(would we sent there at first either people or machines to build homes and then mass immigration or with some other way?)
i am asking these questions out of curiosity, because if the cost is too high then we should give up in the whole idea of leaving the planet in general.too bad teleportation does not work in real life as it does in movies,if we had a portal then imigrating other planets would be super easy.
