Hi, 22 F and I live in Tampa, FL. I am true believer in extraterrestrial life; Though I have not seen anything, I do believe there is something else out there.
Anyway - I was at Clearwater Beach last month (at night) with my boyfriend. We were just hanging out, having a drink, and relaxing. It is very common for people go to the beach at night because it is not patrolled, and it is very big. It was cloudy that night, and every so often I would catch a glimpse at the moon as the clouds blew past it. Around 10:15pm, a BLINDING white light appeared behind the clouds (about 600ft up and in front of us)... It lit up the area of the beach we were at and reflected off the water. As the clouds moved past, it was as if someone was holding a spotlight on us. We couldn't even look at it, it was so bright. After about 6 seconds, it took off - Straight up into the air and disappeared. It did not make a sound. Absolutely silent. All we heard was the waves on the shore. My boyfriend played it off as a helicopter, but I am not so sure.
A meteor hit in North Florida 3 days ago, and authorities cannot find it. Not super unusual, but fast forward to last night. I woke up at 12am on the dot. My boyfriend is out of town for work until the end of the week. I was alone, and my dogs were in bed with me (which is strange because they sleep in the living room). I did not think anything of it, so I took them out back to go to the bathroom. ** Just a little background: I live in a retirement community, so a majority of the neighborhood is dead asleep and quiet all day/night. The neighbors around me do not have dogs or children.** So my 2 dogs are sniffing around doing their business, and I am on the patio scrolling through Facebook. My Rottweiler started barking at the fence, I find this weird because she is very old and laid back.. But she is barking and growling like I have never heard before. I figure it is just a racoon or something, so I tell her to leave it alone. But she won't stop. I finally get out of the patio and walk over to her to see what it is. Through the fence, I see a glowing red orb(?) bouncing up and down and side to side. It is about the size of a softball. It was pulsating - dim to bright dim to bright. I am not sure if it made a noise or not, because the dog was barking.. But I did not stick around to find out. I pulled her away and ran in the house.
I have no idea what I have been seeing, but maybe someone in this sub will have a similar experience? Thanks for reading.
