There's this woman who claims she is allergic to water everywhere in her body. While there is a skin sensitivity to water (Aquagenic Urticaria) her claims do not match the disease as she says a sip of water sends her into anaphylactic shock (which is not what Aquagenic Urticaria is) and that she was born like it. Intravenous saline also causes her to go into anaphylactic shock as well. She said doctors have confirmed she is allergic to the water molecule itself (that she has antibodies against the water molecule) and doesn't have just a sensitivity to stuff in the water. She has an actual food allergy to water, like how a person allergic to peanuts has an allergy to the proteins in the peanuts.
I saw photos of her and she looks pretty weird. I could not find any medical documentation on her even though there's been news articles on her since she was 8 years old. Her name also sounds like it was made up in those random name generators. Is it even possible for someone to survive if they had no water in their blood/body? Since that is definitely what she's implying considering she isn't having anaphylaxis 24/7 (if she cannot handle a sip of water I doubt she'd be able to handle 70 lbs of water in her body). Recently she's been trying to get a book deal.
Just want to know your thoughts on this woman.
