A sighting two years ago

Hello,

Sorry for the anonymous throw away account everyone. But I saw some stuff a few years back and my eyes still tear up thinking about it.

This took place in November 2017. At the time I was living south of Sacramento, CA. I was driving up North to visit family and friends in Durham CA for Thanksgiving with my wife. It was dark by the time I got through Sacramento.

I've driven 99 north plenty of times, but this time was when I saw some stuff. To this day I have no idea what it was, it absolutely still freaks me out emotionally to think about it so I thought I would write it here and see if anyone has heard of similar sightings.

No one else was on the road but one other car in front of me. I was doing about 80 mph and crossed a bridge when my front windshield fogged over. It was so bad I had to hit my breaks and flip my wipers because I couldn't see in front of me. I thought that was really weird because it wasn't a foggy night. I thought maybe some weird swamp affect happened over the river and wrote it off. The car in front of me also had to slow down, so I assumed it was for the same reason.

A few minutes pass and both I and the car ahead of me are back up to speed and I catch something out of the corner of my eye. It looked like a mountain lion (not normal for this area, in the orchard) but it was grey and was moving very fast and very abnormally across the road. It sounds ridiculous but the best way I can describe it is that where you would expect it's arms to stop moving when a big cat is sprinting, they didn't stop. They just did a full revolution and kept on going until it's feet struck the ground again. It looked almost robotic but it moved and looked so organic. So it crossed in front of the car ahead of me and comes very close to getting nailed, but doesn't, and it proceeded to cross and vanish into the orchards on my right (orchards are on booth side of the roads at this location).

I tried to figure out what the hell I just saw, so for a sanity check asked my wife and she confirmed she saw it to and also wasn't sure what she just saw. I was honestly afraid to stop the car and find out so I just kept on driving.

To make this story even weirder, I saw three or four hovering objects another minute down the road. No noise (rolled windows down and slowed down a little but kept driving), at different elevations maybe 500 to 1000ft in the air with blue and red and white lights. They were changing elevation and slowly moving around with respect to each other (not in formation).

The fog out of nowhere (hiding something), the freaky alien cat thing and then these UFO's seemingly searching for it like a lost pet or some shit.

Long story short, I saw some shit. I have no idea what it was, and it freaks me the fuck out. Haven't heard of other alien cat like sightings before so I thought I'd post here and see if anyone has articles or anything related to extraterrestrial animal sightings. I've thought about the possibility of Google balloons but with everything else on that trip it was just all way too weird. I searched the UFO sightings website but didn't see anything reported for that area either.

Edit: November 2016 should have been November 2017.
