So I’m going to be very willing to give up my location just because I need answers and research help. I live in California and live in a town called Oakley. Just down the road is Brentwood (our side city) and between and to the side is a small cow town called Knightsen. (Please look up for better understanding)
About a week ago I was doing some work with my friends (3 of us) and we decided to go get some food at a local Chinese restaurant in Brentwood. We left the restaurant about 10 till close so about 9:20. The sun was just going down and it was starting to turn dark as one side of the sky was nearly black and the other was a dim pink. As we drove from Brentwood to Oakley we stopped at a red light. There seemed to be nobody around and almost no noise when all the sudden we look infront of us and there is 4 red (and I mean bright red) lights on the dark side of the sky. My buddy in the front seat pointed them out and as we sat at the light we tried to reason what the 4 lights can be. At first I jokingly said aliens but we thought it was a Crane light as we live close to a waterway where ships have large cranes to drudge (scoop out the algae) but after a second we realized that the lights were waaaay too y’all to be a water crane and reasoned maybe it was a land crane. But again after a quick second we realized that the lights are over knightsen which is a small farm town with no large buildings or construction.
The light finally turns green and we start driving. We pass a large tree and when we get around the tree we look where the lights were and 3 of the 4 were gone. At this point we start freaking out because these were very bright lights. And now there is only 1 remaining. We pass another tree and now that light is suddenly right infront of us on our long straight road home. Me being completely dumbfounded I say screw it we must investigate.
I tried to pull over but the side wasn’t big enough so u took the soonest right turn. My mistake I took a turn that had very large trees on the sides but they would break between properties. Suddenly we saw the light flying with us at what looked to be maybe 100ft off the ground and about 300ft away. I slammed on the brakes and took a left towards it on the street I was near.
On this road it opened up to a huge field where I can see the whole sky. AND I SAW THE RED LIGHT. I rolled down all my windows just to be 1000% it wasn’t an illusion and all 3 of us saw it. It was a bright but deep red. Solid red. Almost like the one you would see on the top of a tower or something. And there it was. Floating there but slightly moving towards us. I realized we were almost home and instantly called my mom because I knew she’d be able to see it from my house. I called and told her to go outside and look towards knightsen and just as those works came out of my mouth the light TOOK OFF into the sky. Not over any trees or anything, it flew off into the distance and disappeared into the sky in the matter of a second.
Me and my friends sat there speechless and just stared into the sky unable to say a word.
I’ve attempted to look up any local reports and nobody has said or reported this. I know it’s real. And my friend has a very poor Snapchat video he tried to take of the light. Will post when he sends it to me. PLEASE, HAS ANYONE SEEN, HEARD, OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. I’m scared whatever it was heard me and saw me trying to get another person to see it. What if it saw me?!? What if it comes for me?!?! HELP
