Why are they keeping it a secret? That's the biggest question. Answers range from "people will panic" to "some evil elite just wants to control it", but no one ever seems to suggest what I now think is the most likely option: the people that have it want to keep it out of the wrong hands.
We know from Lazar and others who have leaked information from these projects that the main motivation of the people that control this technology is to try to reproduce it. Why? Surely with just 1 flying saucer, which we know they can operate, they could hold countries ransom 1 by 1. A single flying saucer could likely obliterate entire Navy fleets and never be touched.
So it seems more logical to me to conclude that the people who have it (and all indications are it's largely in private control to keep it even from the US government) want to keep it secret for the right reasons. They know that if China, Russia or Iran ever finds out this exists, no expense will be spared to get such a thing. They know that a bloody world war would happen and out of the ashes would emerge a tyrannical regime that maintains it's power with stolen alien technology.
So, all of these people coming forward might be inadvertently sending us to our doom. We can't synthesize a stable isotope of element 115. It might not even possible. It might only be something that occurs naturally in other solar systems, and with something that valuable and rare, war is inevitable if it ever becomes public knowledge.
