What just happened to me?

I fell asleep and woke up in a dream where I knew I was dreaming so I consciously tried to go back to sleep. Then I woke up again and was in ‘real life’ on the bed with my OH. said woah I didn’t realise I’d fallen asleep, I lost a couple of minutes. OH, who had been watching you tube turned to me and said I just lost a couple of minutes there too. We looked at each other and his face looked confused? And concerned? I’ve only seen him look like that at serious times so it scared me. I knew he was sincere. Then it gets a hazy. I seen - more like felt? a tall human shadow?? enter the room. As it got closer? Grew larger? It starts to go dark and I remember thinking I’m being abducted by aliens and how fucking ridiculous that sounded. I wanted to laugh but couldn’t. My vision went from was going from grey to dark and I got really scared. It felt like I was being pulled into the dark and it was just panic and fear and terror. I did NOT want to keep going that way. I fought to keep thinking straight and it got greyer so I knew something was right. I was being stretched starting from the middle of my belly. My torso but inside. And the pulling was swelling, i felt like it would keep going. It wasn’t violent or painful. I started trying to scream and thrash my body around thinking this has to be a dream. I have to wake up from this. The dark turned back to grey and lighter, my thoughts got clearer until I recognised it as the glow from the bedroom. I felt like I burst through water and woke up with a massive gasp for air.

Then turned to OH in a panic, still lying watching YouTube. I told him my dream. I asked why he didn’t wake me like he normally did when I have a lucid dream. He shrugged, “I thought you were just lying looking at your phone”. Wasn’t I Jerking? Twitching? Nope. Did I make any sounds? I had really been fighting to try and scream. I was terrified, I felt like I was struggling for my life until the grey started to lighten and I knew I was getting close. OH said nope. I hadn’t even breathed loudly. I told OH “But I woke up with a big gasp for air! Like a proper deep gasp for the breath. He says I didn’t. I just lifted my head and turned to look at him.
