Im not sure this is the right sub but I figured it's be a decent start. I'm a musician who has been working on a tribute to the brave astronauts we lost to the challenger disaster. I understand this is a very sensitive subject so I want to put as much thought and detail into this project as humanly possible, I was wondering if any of you remember watching the launch at time and would do me the honor of sharing your story.
I can find endless facts about the mission online but I'm more interested in the perspective of regular people, preferably students who watched the events unfold live and how it might have shaped your view of space travel or the world in general.
I Know this can't be an easy thing to relive so I greatly appreciate anyone who would like to share in advance.
