does NASA offer research opportunities for engineering students who want to enter grad school to participate in?

I am a 2nd year mechanical engineering student & I want to do a thesis oriented masters for grad school, so I would need research experience. Does NASA offer such for undergraduate students? I know that they have internships, but I couldn't find much on there for research.
