Even if you faced a series of rejections from NASA for being an astronaut, hopefully this time is different. This has been the case for every single astronaut that I have researched. Not one astronaut who I know of, got picked up in their first try. It took a few rejections and a lot of faith and patience to get selected into the program.
I've only recently turned 20, and i'm not even done my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering yet. I'm still wayy too under-qualified to even apply for this Spring's astronaut board. I've still got another masters, US Navy OCS, US Navy undergrad aviation training, and hopefully Test Pilot School and a PhD in engineering yet to go. But hopefully some of you more qualified engineers, scientists, test pilots, doctors, etc. on this subreddit can get selected this time around
Best of Luck!
