I think anyone following the topic of UFO'S and aliens is aware of the liveliness and change in attitudes towards the subject in recent years, with Pentagon releases and acknowledgements, leaked documents and news coverage, such as the "cube" photo a week a go - regardless of what the object sighted actually is, they publically broadcast on MSM that a genuine hypothesis of a govt body is that it could be "alien" or "non-human technology". That's very significant in my opinion. The subject finally feels like it is being taken seriously and given the merit it deserves, which is a great step forward.
However, my question is what do you think the motive is for the apparent U-turn in attitudes? Seeing as most Govts and powers to be have spent the last 70 years or so denying that anything could possibly be alien, as well as making a general public mockery of the subject in an effort to stop people and the scientific community giving it any serious merit and attaching a stigma to it, it seems strange that this would appear to be changing
What are your thoughts
